Spaghetti Pie Tastes Better From Scratch



Spaghetti pie is a comforting and hearty dish that brings together the flavors of spaghetti and pie in one delicious meal. This recipe adds a homemade touch with a blend of cheeses, savory ground beef, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions

Drain and set aside

In a mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and basil

Mix well

Press spaghetti mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie dish to form a crust

In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium heat until beef is browned and vegetables are tender

Drain excess grease

Stir in marinara sauce and cook until heated through

Pour beef mixture over spaghetti crust

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top

Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly

Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving
